This piece is an event invitation for a local carnival-themed fundraiser hosted by children’s theatre Imagination Stage.

In order to give this piece a vintage look and hand-crafted feel I used craft paper and custom stamping. The front of the invitation features a sliding panel that reveals the event logo. This interactive element provides a hands-on introduction to the event. The invitations red and black color palette reflects the old style carnival theme while the typography is inspired by classic wood type posters.
